Terms of Service

These terms outline the rules, responsibilities, and conditions for using our website and booking events with Ellis County Event Center.

Welcome to the Ellis County Event Center website (the "Site"), owned and operated by TGF Venues, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our Site or inquiring about our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.

Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our Site or services.

1. Services Provided

TGF Venues, LLC provides event venue rentals and all-inclusive event packages (including but not limited to catering, DJ services, cake, and coordination) located at 1200 Kingdom Circle, Waxahachie, TX 75167.

2. Booking & Reservations

  • Booking Window: We accept bookings up to 18 months in advance. We recommend booking early to ensure availability and adequate time for planning.
  • Contract Requirement: A signed contract and a deposit are required to officially secure a date. Inquiries or tours do not constitute a held date.
  • Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (such as name, email, and event details) when filling out contact forms.

3. Payment Terms & Plans

We offer flexible payment plans to accommodate our clients. Unless otherwise stated in your specific event contract, the following schedule applies:

  • 9 Months Prior to Event: 25% of the total balance is due.
  • 6 Months Prior to Event: 50% of the total balance must be paid.
  • 2 Months Prior to Event: Full payment is required.
  • Accepted Payments: We accept cash, check, Zelle, and credit cards.
  • Processing Fees: All credit card transactions are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling: Events may be rescheduled subject to availability. A new deposit will be required, and the original deposit will be forfeited.
  • Price Adjustments: If an event is rescheduled, the client is responsible for paying any difference in pricing between the original booking date and the new date.
  • Cancellations: Specific cancellation refund policies are governed by your individual signed Rental Agreement.

5. Venue Rules & Policies

  • Preparation Time: Clients are permitted 2 hours for on-site preparations before the commencement of the event. We strongly recommend hair and makeup be completed prior to arrival.
  • Outside Vendors: We do not charge fees for outside caterers, DJs, or decorators. However, clients are responsible for providing all necessary supplies and equipment for outside vendors.
  • Alcohol Policy (BYOB): Clients may bring their own alcohol, provided it is managed by the contract holder. All alcohol must be placed behind the bar prior to the event start and must be served by our licensed bartender.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of TGF Venues, LLC and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

TGF Venues, LLC and its owners (Grisela Balduvinos and Angela Garcia) shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Site or the hosting of events, except as expressly provided in a signed Rental Agreement.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ellis County, Texas.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site.
